Here's What to Do

Seal sightings in London are increasing, along with seals hauling out in sometimes busy public spaces. While this can be exciting, it can also pose risks if people are not aware of how to behave. Here’s how to safely share space with a seal.

Signs of a seal in distress

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR TAGLINE.

  • Obvious injury of bleeding

  • Entanglement

  • Rapid or visibly laboured breathing

  • Regular coughing or sneezing

  • Shivering or seizures​

  • Obvious discharge from eyes or nose

  • very small pup on its own

  • Extremely thin (visible ribs or hips).
